Tekkcheck, LLC – Terms of Inspection

By scheduling or purchasing a pre-purchase inspection through Tekkcheck, LLC (“Tekkcheck”), you (“Customer”) agree to the following Terms of Inspection:

1. Scope of Inspection

Tekkcheck provides visual and operational inspections of used vehicles to help customers make more informed purchasing decisions. Each inspection includes a review of the vehicle’s visible condition, photos/videos (if applicable), and scan results using diagnostic tools provided by the technician.

Our inspections are:

• Non-invasive(we do not dismantle or remove parts),
• Based on conditions present at the time of inspection, and
• Conducted at the location and time selected by the Customer, and
• Performed by independent contractors with relevant automotive experience.

2. No Warranty or Guarantee

Tekkcheck does not warrant or guarantee the future condition, performance, or reliability of any vehicle we inspect.

We are not responsible for any mechanical failure, electrical failure, or cosmetic issue that may arise after our inspection is completed, including those that develop between the time of inspection and your purchase of the vehicle.

If a Carfax vehicle history report is included with your inspection package, you understand that Tekkcheck is not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or content of that report.

Tekkcheck is a reseller of the report and is not affiliated with or liable for the data provided by Carfax.

3. Limitations of Liability

Tekkcheck, LLC, and its contractors shall not be held liable for:

• Any issues not present or visible at the time of inspection,
• Any damages incurred after the inspection,
• Any decisions made by the Customer based on the inspection report, and
• Any repairs, breakdowns, or losses resulting from the purchase of the

Our maximum liability under any circumstances shall not exceed the amount paid by the Customer for the inspection service.

4. Customer Acknowledgements

By using our services, you agree that:

• You understand this is a visual inspection only, not a comprehensive mechanical
• You are solely responsible for the final decision to purchase or not purchase the
• The inspection does not serve as a warranty or assurance of vehicle
• You have read and understood these terms before scheduling or purchasing. 

5.Cancellation & Refunds

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance for a full refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours may be subject to a service fee. If our technician is unable to access the vehicle due to inaccurate information provided by the customer or seller, no refund may be issued by Tekkcheck.

6. Use of Reports

Inspection reports are intended for personal use only by the Customer. Tekkcheck retains ownership of the report content. Any resale, reproduction, or modification of the report without our written permission is strictly prohibited.

7. Independent Technicians

Technicians completing inspections are independent contractors, not employees of Tekkcheck. While we vet and screen our contractors, we are not responsible for their personal conduct outside of the scope of their inspection assignment.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any legal action or dispute arising from this agreement shall be handled in a court located in Texas.

9. Vehicle Accessibility & Authorization

Customer is responsible for ensuring that:

• The vehicle is present, accessible, and available at the time of  inspection 
• Permission is granted by the vehicle owner or seller to perform the  inspection

Tekkcheck is not responsible for missed or incomplete inspections due to lack of access or unauthorized vehicle access.

10. Media Consent

By using our service, you consent to the collection of photos and videos of the vehicle for documentation purposes. These may be used internally, for the report, or for training/quality assurance. Tekkcheck will not use personal customer information for public marketing without written permission.

11. Severe Defects or Safety Issues

If the technician identifies a major safety concern or critical failure, the customer may be notified immediately, and the inspection may be paused or stopped at the discretion of the inspector. Tekkcheck does not assume responsibility for alerting the seller or any third party.
